Exhausted. Many couples getting married this month... Seem like an auspicious month or do people generally get married bcus the new year is drawing near?

Well, I always look upon these blissful couples in their wedding and wonder how they walk this far. I have to admit that goosebump creeped all over me today when looking at EST wedding photos. I don't know their story very well, but the photos are so well taken that I feel so touched. Years ago, my perspective of marriage is very different. I used to think that the person whom I love will love me as much and marriage is a part of the loving journey when we reach a point of committing ourselves for a lifetime. However, finding someone who truly love you is rare as finding someone you love. Even if you feel it's time to commit, the other party feels otherwise. I've to agree that the differences in one's family background and life experience influence a person's view and priorities in life. But my personal opinion is that a longer time lapses into a relationship, you begin to doubt about marriage as one might experience a substantial amount of unhappy moments and feel insecure once the point has reached beyond a lifetime commitment. It's a crap feeling. You know you can live with the person, but is the feeling the same as before, you don't know. Love-not, hate-not.

Theory of love should be simple. Once a romance develops, it should continue with a commitment immediately. There's lesser to worry, you know you just love him/her. Life is too short to think too much. I made a mistake once, I know I've to cherish even more. Again, I don't know where I'm heading.

Typical foreigners only come to Singapore to work for MONEY. Yes, better bucks as compared to their homes. Tax-free, CPF-free. Earned enough and later on leave with multiple complaints on Singaporeans' attitude, mindset etc. Why do government allow them to come so freely? Im especially intolerant to those whom are insensitive to our unique cultures. Please don't come here and give negative remarks in term of whatever. First, you don't originally belong here. Second, you've chose to come here on your own expense. I rather the bigger company cancel these work passes, save some money and train Singaporeans for such jobs. A tough fight and PAP has won. Congratulation! But is democratic all about electing a leader that best represents a group of people for the majority? How about the minority that has voted for the opposition? There's alot more to be done and this is just the beginning of the journey.

Oppositions you have fought a beautiful battle and lost gracefully. I hope this will challenge the future candidates to work even harder and not losing confidence just because of the results today. Convincing others is not easy but the first step forward is to believe in yourself and keep believing and spill this spirit over & around. Hang on! We, singaporeans, have the same belief and thus, chose to dilute our votes across all constituencies. We have created a history. The most competitive GE ever in Singapore history, the one that hopefully has waken up everyone in PAP not to be complacent and just do what is deem right and of course, the entire Singapore too. We need leaders that can be as far sighted as MM, passionate in serving the nation and it's people and putting people's interest in upmost priority. Throughout my childhood, it's the crucial nation building years. I live in the era where buildings are built and demolished one after another. Seriously I find it ridiculous and a waste of resources. Swiss standard of living? We should adopt a more sustainable development and integrate historical value in our construction. These values can eventually contribute to our tourism and also be passed down to future generations, which will make living in Singapore more meaningful - common memory/living area.

For those who voted for oppositions, it doesn't mean that we do not love Singapore nor we are not thankful for what we have today. The purpose of the vote is to choose a leader that is believed to do the job best in the next five years, thus it really depends on the electorate and what was delivered to the public during the short campaigning, some to the extent of past community involvement and support (based on past experience, public will gauge if the person has the ability to improve or not). Strategy of this game is crucial. WP is very strong and has done a right strategic move. No matter the results, I'm still very thankful for all contributed parties to make Singapore what it is today - a well developed, clean and green city except the cheap foreign worker invasion which I still have some debates on the selection process. We voted for you, diluted our confidence, nevertheless re-embracing everyone as a one Singapore to trust in the new leaders to bring us forward as a nation. We need to match people's needs to nation growth. This is progress (as one).

It has been a long long time since I type my blog entry on my com.
The past few entries are quite emo, cus I write what I think or feel on the go.
I tend to share my happiness with people around me but keep the negative dark secrets within and vent them by writing out. I am still an optimist! Hehe~

A few resolutions to fulfil:
1. Keep a neat & tidy room always (Working on & will do my best to maintain)
2. Save money! SAVE SAVE SAVE! (Means no expensive dining, buying unneccessary stuffs)
3. Take good care of my health! I need to recover asap & be able to exercise at least once a week! (If I recover, no more excuses to skip Sunday Jog!)
4. Self improvement~ I mean knowledge, work skill and overall!
5. Career Growth! Work UP or get OUT to a better environment for learning more things. I do not want to be stagnant & live in my own comfort zone.

Dilema...
Thought of dropping my Japanese Language after 4years+++ of study. I learnt alot through schools, reading up, listening to songs, watching dramas, BUT I hardly use. Glad that I have been to Tokyo last year & with my limited communication skill, I have managed to survive there for a couple of days. What else more can I ask for? No more intention to go there for studies, thus I don't see the point to continue unless work allows me to. JLPT, such a horror. Enough...? Anyway, the certificate has an expiry date.

Skin disease eruption is such a torture. Not jus physically, but mentally too. That reminds me of the serious eruption five years ago due to exam stress? It really pulled me down.
