Which would you pick - a job far far away, reasonably paid, a job scope that you may like, a conducive environment to work & learn or a job not quite near though nearer than the 1st option, slightly higher pay, a job scope that you don't like (just the title turns you off), assuming good working environment.
This is a crossroad that a decision has to be made. To turn left or right.
The situation reminds me of my daily dilemma to blow dry or to wipe my hands with a paper towel in the washroom. Either way, I'm crushing the Earth.
Of course, there is always other alternatives - that is to stayput & do nothing. Everything will fall in place, should fall in place.
There is no perfection in this world. Jobs that I want to pick up is usually under-paid and those that I wouldn't want to consider, contradictory offer a higher salary. I couldn't interpret this agony. However, I cannot deny the temptation of a better wedge, in providing me sufficient income to even support my family members. Distance, career progression, work environment, colleagues, wedge, personal development... Every adult-to-be should think about.
Hesitation is a nuisance.
Why do we grow up to work?
I long for a long long vacation escape - to sleep & dream, heartily.
Today is a GIFT.
